Design systems are great for developer efficiency, visual consistency, and accessible experiences. But measurement can be challenging, and even here at Sparkbox we’re often relying on anecdotes from our own projects or from self-reported metrics that we’ve gathered from our annual design systems survey. We wanted more proof, so we decided to test our hypothesis, “design systems help developers produce better code faster.” Our test subjects? A handful of willing Sparkbox developers.

The Radius design system starter kit is a collection of open-source tools and libraries that guide and help you to build your design system faster. Design systems need to match your brand and product needs, and your current and future digital workflows. Too much, too little, too complex, or too off-brand, and you will fight your design system as much as benefit from it.

How to unify anatomy and props across code and design tools
Choosing a UI web framework or library is often difficult. There are plenty to choose from, so you have to take different factors into account: number and quality of the components, performance, ongoing development, license or language support. Way too often accessibility (a11y) doesn't make it high on that list, unfortunately.

HSL is an alternative representation of the RGB color model. It’s the most common way to specify color in design tools, but it has an inherent fault — Lightness and Saturation don’t reflect human perception. Compare blue and green — while both have a Lightness of 50, blue looks much darker.
Thank you for presenting your web application for this UI audit. It definitely takes a lot of courage. It also means that you care about UI/UX and believe that great design can make a difference for your business. It absolutely can!

A better SVG Optimiser that allows to remove transforms from an SVG file. Figma adds transforms sometimes to a generated SVG code, and they are virtually impossible to strip manually since you'd need to rewrite the path coords. The URL is https://lean-svg.netlify.app. Usually i would be using this one https://jakearchibald.github.io/svgomg/ but it doesn't have this feature.

Некоторое время назад мне пришла в голову интересная идея — превратить свои старые телефоны (их скопилось немало за десять лет) в серверы, в качестве альтернативы покупке Raspberry Pi.
