Основательница бренда Полина Черповицкая — дизайнер и идейный вдохновитель проекта. Раньше Полина делала сувениры для музеев, но в период пандемии этот бизнес приостановился, и тогда пришлось искать новое решение. При таких обстоятельствах родился бренд украшений Recycle Object. Проект запустился в апреле 2020 года. Основная идея в том, что мы делаем красивые вещи из материала, который обычно считается мусором.

Для своих изделий мы используем ABS-пластик, который остается от студий 3D-печати. Мы сортируем его по цветам, дробим в крошку, а потом прессуем при определенной температуре — в результате получается материал по виду очень похожий на мрамор. Из него мы вырезаем наши украшения, а оставшийся после этого пластик используем повторно.

Мы принимаем обратно украшения, которые "разонравились" и вторично их перерабатываем. Часть дохода мы перечисляем проекту "Собиратор", который занимается раздельным сбором мусора.

Not long ago there was some buzz around how WebKit handles 100vh in CSS, essentially ignoring the bottom edge of the browser viewport. Some have suggested not using 100vh, others have come up with different alternatives to work around the problem.
