I'm a dual citizen, born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, which is basically Canadian Detroit. I can carry a conversation in French and I think that poutine is a dish whose absence in American cuisine is regretted daily.

I've got a knack for retro gaming - the NES is my nostalgia machine. I carry library cards from three states. I've been trying to finish David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest for a cool six months now.

I enjoy baseball and football and still think of Detroit as the home-team. I think Tom Waits got better with age and Dylan got a (little) bit worse, but that's all sort of up for discussion.
