The web is liberally littered with “What is better WordPress or Drupal” debates (sometimes with Joomla thrown in for good measure). As a long time user of both, I don’t think this is a useful question. But neither is the common answer that they both serve a different purpose. That is true up to a point but I think the real question is not “what” but rather “when”. When it comes down to it, there is nothing that WordPress can do that you could not do in Drupal. But there are many features of Drupal that simply cannot be replicated in WordPress. (Here I’m talking with available modules without significant code.)
