To get the most out of a TextExpander, you need to remember your abbreviations. That means obeying principles of memory and cognition. To dramatically ease the burden of creating and learning abbreviations, develop conventions for them. Patterns reduce the mathematical “complexity” of learning, and they exploit your brain’s natural, impressive ability to process patterns.
twigfiddle.com's aim is to provide a small development environment to develop, run, store and access Twig code online.

The earliest speculations about communication with extraterrestrial intelligence (CETI) involved contact with the inhabitants of other bodies of our Solar System, either our Moon or other planets. Astronomical theories in the nineteenth century made plausible a belief in the prevalence of life on non-terrestrial worlds circling our Sun. When the focus turned to the possibility of communicating with the potential denizens of these worlds, their relative closeness to the Earth made it conceivable that signals could be detected through optical telescopes.
As the craft of Web design continues to evolve, we’re recognizing the need to develop thoughtful design systems, rather than creating simple collections of web pages.
A lot has been said about creating design systems, and much of it focuses on establishing foundations for color, typography, grids, texture and the like. This type of thinking is certainly important, but I’m slightly less interested in these aspects of design because ultimately they are and will always be subjective. Lately I’ve been more interested in what our interfaces are comprised of and how we can construct design systems in a more methodical way.
In searching for inspiration and parallels, I kept coming back to chemistry. The thought is that all matter (whether solid, liquid, gas, simple, complex, etc) is comprised of atoms. Those atomic units bond together to form molecules, which in turn combine into more complex organisms to ultimately create all matter in our universe.
Similarly, interfaces are made up of smaller components. This means we can break entire interfaces down into fundamental building blocks and work up from there. That’s the basic gist of atomic design.
Listening to your web content rather than looking at it can be an "eye-opening" experience (pardon the pun) that takes sighted users out of their normal comfort zone. It gives sighted users a chance to evaluate their content from an entirely different perspective: from the perspective of a blind person. A lot of times you'll end up finding mistakes that would have been hard to catch visually. For example, spelling mistakes become very obvious when you hear words mispronounced by the screen reader. Screen readers are also very good for checking the accuracy and quality of image alternative text. Screen readers can also help you identify problems with reading order, table markup, form elements, and many other aspects of accessibility.

git-remote-dropbox is a transparent bidirectional bridge between Git and Dropbox. It lets you use a Dropbox folder or a shared folder as a Git remote!
This Git remote helper makes Dropbox act like a true Git remote. It maintains all guarantees that are provided by a traditional Git remote while using Dropbox as a backing store. This means that it works correctly even when there are multiple people operating on the repository at once, making it possible to use a Dropbox shared folder as a Git remote for collaboration.
Once the helper is installed, using it is as simple as adding a remote like dropbox://path/to/repo.
